Tentative Schedule

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Networking Session (light music, business card exchange)
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Nail Art Competition
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Nail Art Fashion Show, Raffles, & Awards
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Cleanup & Wrap-up

By participating in the Showcase, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility

Open to all nail artists, including students, novices, and professionals.

Competition Categories & Fees

Student/Novice Category – Juneteenth Theme ($50 Entry Fee)
- Competitors in this category must create a nail design inspired by Juneteenth, reflecting freedom, culture, and heritage through symbolism, colors, and storytelling.
Professional Category – 90s Theme ($100 Entry Fee)
- Professional competitors must create a 90s-inspired nail design, incorporating elements from pop culture, fashion, music, and trends that defined the decade.

Competition Guidelines

Competitors must arrive with Five Pre-prepared Freestyle Nails that will be displayed separately for audience voting.
During the live competition, competitors must complete a full set of 10 themed nails within the 3-hour time limit.
Each artist must use a live model to present their work during the final showcase. Artists may also model their own nails if preferred.
Admission for one model is included in the ticket price if using a live model.

Check-In

All artists must check in at the registration area at least one hour prior to the showcase to allow for preparation time.
Late arrivals will forfeit their place and their paid entry fee.

Media Consent

By participating in the showcase, artists and their models agree to be photographed and recorded during the event. These materials may be used for promotional purposes by the event organizers.

Showcase Briefing

A briefing will be provided before the showcase begins to ensure all participants understand the process and guidelines.

Showcase Area

All artists and models must remain in the designated showcase area until we announce the final presentation.

Tools, Products, and Hygiene

Artists must bring their own tools and products, including but not limited to:
Full coverage nail tips
Nail polish, brushes, decals, files, buffers, adhesive tabs, glue
UV/LED lamps, extension cords
Any other necessary materials
Artists can use their own nail stands or models to work on during the showcase.
All tools must be clean and sanitized to meet safety and hygiene standards.
All artists must start with full coverage press-on nail tips to ensure the designs align with the press-on nail artistry focus of Amazing K Nails.
Nails must be applied using temporary adhesive tabs to allow for easy removal after the showcase.

Artistic Enhancements

Artists may use enhancements such as decals, embellishments, and additional artistic elements as long as they align with the theme.

Judging & Awards

Audience Vote: The five pre-prepared freestyle nails will be judged separately by attendees.
Panel Judging: A panel of industry professionals will score the live-applied full set of 10 nails using the criteria below.
Trophies will be awarded to the Top Nail Masters, along with exclusive prizes recognizing artistry, skill, and innovation.
Prizes:
- Student Category – Juneteenth Theme: 1st Place - $150 (minimum 5 competitors required for payout)
- Professional Category – 90s Theme: 1st Place - $300 (minimum 5 competitors required for payout)
Trophies awarded to 1st place winners in each category.
To ensure maximum participation, a successful, engaging event, invite fellow artists to sign up! The more sign-ups, the bigger the prizes!

Sales & Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

Entry Requirements

Valid photo ID is required for entry.
Please print your ticket or have a digital copy available on your mobile device for check-in.

Conduct

All artists must behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Any inappropriate behavior may result in disqualification and removal from the event.

Liability

The event organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.

Modifications

The event organizers reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time.

Scoring Criteria

Neatness (0-10) The cleanliness and precision of your work. No smudges, streaks, or rough edges should be visible. A neat, tidy appearance shows professionalism and care in execution.
Theme Adherence (0-10) How well your design follows the chosen theme (Juneteenth or 90s). We want to see how creatively you interpret and apply the theme in your design.
Creativity & Originality (0-10) How innovative and unique your design is. Does it stand out as something fresh and different? We are looking for designs that reflect out-of-the-box thinking and new ideas.
Technique (0-10) The skill and precision of the technical application, including brush control, line work, and the use of tools. A strong technical foundation is essential for a professional-looking result.
Use of Color (0-10) How effectively you’ve used color in your design. Are the colors harmonious, contrasting, or uniquely combined to enhance the overall look? Color should complement the design and add depth to your work.
Attention to Detail (0-10) The intricacy and precision of small details in your design, such as line work, embellishments, or patterns. Well-executed details can elevate a design from good to exceptional.
Completeness (0-10) Whether all 10 nails are fully designed and polished. No part of the design should look incomplete or unfinished. Each nail should contribute to the overall design, with no loose ends.
Seamless Application (0-10) How smoothly and seamlessly the nails are applied to the model using adhesive tabs. The application should look natural with no visible gaps or errors, reflecting a professional-grade application. Nails must be applied using temporary adhesive tabs to allow for easy removal after the showcase.
Balance & Proportion (0-10) The balance and proportionality of your design across all 10 nails. Do the designs flow consistently? Is there harmony from one nail to the next? A well-balanced design should feel harmonious and even across the full set.
Overall Visual Appeal of Final Look (0-10) The general attractiveness and wow factor of the complete head-to-toe look on the model. We are looking for a cohesive presentation where the nails seamlessly tie into the clothing, hair, and makeup. The entire look should work together to create a polished, impactful, and visually stunning final impression.

Each category will be scored on a 0-10 scale, with a maximum total score of 100.
